Carl Spowart.
I was invited to go along to the Christmas late night shopping in Anstruther on Friday night, Ronnie and I went on my trike, we met up with Drew, Rab, Dave, Gary, John, and Martin,
When we arrived in Anstruther Santa his Reindeers and Elves were waiting for us to join the parade though the streets of Anstruther the streets were full of people waving and clapping as we past through the town. At the end of the parade we all stopped at the harbour we all went into The Scottish Fisheries Museum where we all tucked into some stoves.
Anstruther town hall was our next stop where we had a collection for a young girl who is going to India to help some under privileged children; she is also going to the Himalayas, climbing on the way. When we were there Ronnie had all the Misfits regalia on the table and our newest members were snapping up the tee shirts, flags, badges etc, and then we were entertained by Gary who decided to try his on right away and gave us all a posing show (see Photos in Garry’s Profile Page) then we captured him in some “Chippendale” poses before he finally covered up his bronzed and well toned torso to some great hilarity.
We then had our pictures taken before we all said our goodbyes and Ronnie and I brought some fish and chips back to Brenda and Linda then we had a few drinks and a good blether till the wee small hours. It was another good night and look forward to doing it next year.
Brenda and I would just like to wish everybody a fantastic Christmas and New Year.

The parade started at 7.00pm, so we all decided to meet at Drew’s house for 6.30 for tea and blether.
Garry, Drew, Dave and Rab from Scotia wings.
Carl, Ronnie and Martin the new misfit.
Also John Tams son in law arrived on Tom’s bike.
We went for a pose on the harbour before the parade and the bikes did look well.
It was then onto the muster area where Santa and the elfs, not forgetting the four reindeers pulling the sleigh were waiting for the off.
Drew had the Sea Lass on the back of his trike and Dave had the Sea Lad on his.
The Parade led of with the Pipers in front and the bikes following behind, with the rest of the parade behind us.
We made our way through the streets lined with spectators and down to the Harbour which was just a mass of spectators, it was wonderful to see so many people take the time to come out on a cold night and support the parade. (Well done the Anstruther folk).
The parade ended here and the bikers were treated to free hot stovies supplied by the ladies from the Scottish Fisheries Museum.
After some more posing it was onto the Town Hall where Drew was intending to do some serious begging with his collection tin, this was to help a local girl Chelsea Brown who had to fund her position in the World Challenge which was to climb the Himalayas and take up a charity position helping the children.
Drew and the lads managed to raise £74.00.
This brought to an end to what was a most enjoyable evening, after saying goodbye I was on my way home on a cold evening, but feeling very good, roll on next year.
