Knowone got it all right so here it is! Seven Bond movies have featured Bikes to date and they are as follows.
In 1965 “Thunderball” featured a BSA A65 lightning fitted with rocket launchers, the scene was filmed at Silverstone, which had to have road markings painted on and a traffic island in the middle of hanger straight.
Where is it now! The cars the star museum in Keswick, Cumbria.
In 1971 “Diamonds are forever” featured 3 of Honda ATC90 trikes chasing Bond on a moon buggy. The trikes were standard but at time of release nothing like this had been seen before.
Where are they now! Unknown.
In 1977 “The spy who loved me” featured a Kawasaki Z900 with rocket powered detachable sidecar chasing Bonds Lotus Esprit.
Where is it now! The cars the star museum in Keswick, Cumbria.
In 1981 “For your eyes only” featured 2 of Yamaha XT500’s with machine guns fitted to the front indicators chasing Bond on skis.
Where are they now! Unknown.
In 1983 “Never say never again” featured a Yamaha XJ650 turbo driven by Bond and sporting rocket launchers.
Where is it now! Unknown.
In 1983 “Octopussy” featured a BMW R80, this bike was police spec, The USAF base that the bike is seen driving into is in fact RAF Upper Hayden in Oxfordshire
Where is it now! Unknown.
In 1995 “Goldeneye” featured a Cagiva W16, Eddie Kidd who doubled for Brosnan did the stunt work for Bond.
Where is it now! One of the 3 bikes used was destroyed going over a cliff, one is in private hands in the UK and the third is owned by the Ian Fleming foundation in America.
In 1997 “Tomorrow never dies” featured a BMW R1200C; the bike is used to jump over a hovering helicopter. BMW apparently told the producers of the movie that it was impossible to wheelie their new bike, the stunt rider proved them wrong.
